Surveys👀 I will defiantly be incorporating survey tools into my future classroom. Currently a couple of my teachers send out surveys to keep up with students personal lives to make sure we are flourishing. I plan to do this through websites like google surveys and anonymous canvas quizzes. If I end up in a elementary/middle school English/language arts teacher, I will send out surveys to students using these tools and optional surveys for parents to get to know them better.  Interesting Topics😀 I find the most interesting thing about other blogs is seeing the different perspectives my classmates have on websites we all used as well as blogging. I enjoyed blogging but I did not enjoy pbworks. For some students this differs. It's inspiring to see what my peers plan on incorporating in their classrooms, everybody produces such high quality work! Digital Badges and Tech-Flex💻 I did not participate in tech-flex or digital badges but after reading about it, they seem beneficial to un

Distance learning 👀 I have enjoyed distance learning because even though there are due dates for assignments, it feels more freeing to my schedule. I work on assignments at my own pace, resulting in better quality work. I dislike how difficult it is to get in contact with my peers though. In my future classroom, on the first day/days I want to set up a class Groupme and have everybody join. This makes class interactions easier, as well as quicker than email.  OER 💻 Open educational resources (OER)'s, are resources available online that can be used, edited, and shared for free in educational settings. They can be games, lesson plans, assignment templates and more. Click  here  to view a website with over 100 OER's. They have resources available for the main subjects in elementary learning.  PowerPoint 💬 I have really enjoyed working on the PowerPoint projects in this class. I learned how to use SmartArt, record presentations, and have gained a better general understanding o

Web Design I enjoyed created a class website! It was a process, but the final result was worth it. Weebley was easy to use and unless I find another webpage design website, I will probably be using it to create my future class website. I plan to encourage my class to use it and keep it updated. Click  here  to view my website. 🌠 Diigo My opinions have changed about Diigo. It has been causing problems on my computer. The Diigo webpage is helpful and I will use with my peers in the future to share resources. However, the website editing feature I will not continue to use. 💫 Technology Trends Teachers are responsible for our future generations awareness of technology. Technology changes so fast that it is hard to keep up. It is important for the future generation to be familiar with technology and to be able to transfer those skills into their future careers. A resource I found helpful to keep up with technology trends in the classroom is TeacherVision. It a website that makes new onl

School Website🏆 The class pages I visited were all similar in the sense that they provided linked resources for additional help and a short welcome description. The websites I visited were designed well, which is very important so students can have easy access to resources. My favorite site was on the Leon High School website with the teacher _. It laid out notes and recorded lectures for each days lesson. This is beneficial for students missing class due to COVID. Visit the site  here. My Future with Technology🚪 I plan to use technology frequently in the classroom. I aim for students to be tech savvy in order for them to keep up with the rapid changing technology. I plan on using organizational websites like the image above to share my lesson plans with my students for easy access.  WIKI🌞 Honestly, I was not a fan of the wiki page process. The site was hard to use and very visually unpleasing. I probably will not be using a wiki in my future and instead share resources through a b

Diigo🐟 I liked using Diigo for sharing useful educational resources. The website was user friendly to create an account with as well as the bookmark function. I may continue to use Diigo if my future colleagues are in groups with me so we can share interesting new resources. So far, this class has introduced me to some cool interactive websites! Blogging🐓 I also enjoy blogging! I like how casual this style of discussion feels compared to a typical discussion board. Blogger is easy to use and it is easy to interact with other students blog posts. The posts I read also seem to be more genuine than those on a typical discussion board. I hope others are enjoying this style of discussion as well! Web 2.0📲 One of my favorite web 2.0 tools is YouTube. I like to go on YouTube in my free time to watch interesting/entertaining videos rather than T.V and even sometimes more than other streaming apps (like Netflix). You can find a numerous amount of videos available for any topic and can inte
